New Motorola with 5,000 mAh battery passes by FCC

 Motorola is preparing to launch a new smartphone, but not before the device is certified that it is safe to use by consumers. A phone with model number XT2127-1/XT2127-2 appeared on FCC, complementing its TUV Rheinland and UL (Demko) listings from earlier this month. So far we know it will have a 5,000 mAh battery with 19W fast charging and will be 4G-only.

The phone, said to be internally called Motorola Capri, will come with pretty basic specs - an HD+ screen with a waterdrop notch and Snapdragon 460 chipset. The RAM and storage will be 4/64 GB, and there will be four cameras on the back, two of them likely of rather limited use (depth sensor + macro lens).

The big question is what is this phone’s name. It could be a Moto G10 Play but we could also see a new device in the ultra-affordable E lineup - probably a mightier variant of the Moto E7 Plus that shares a lot of the specs with the Motorola Capri.

LG announces details of its 2021 OLED TV lineup

  LG has released a handful of details about its upcoming 2021 series of OLED televisions at CES 2021. Going through the somewhat vague press release, it seems there would be at least five models of OLED TVs available in 2021, including the Z1, G1, C1, B1, and A1. Among these, the G1 will feature LG's next generation OLED panel called OLED evo. LG claims this new panel is capable of higher brightness levels, something OLED has always struggled with. The G1 will be available in 55, 65, and 77-inch sizes. The C1 will likely be the next popular model in LG's lineup after the success of 2020's CX. Like the CX, the C1 starts at 48-inches but goes all the way up to 83-inches for the first time. This won't feature the OLED evo panel, as that seems to be exclusive to the G1 model. HP launches new Envy 14 laptop, Elite Folio 2-in1 tablet, and new… earbuds?

With the Envy x360, you got the style and design aesthetic of the high-end Spectre series but at a much lower price. At $999, the HP Envy 14 is quite expensive. In fact, that price really blurs the line between the mid-range Envy family and the high-end Spectre series. Regardless, this seems like a terrific machine if you can afford it.
