OnePlus fitness band launched, starts at Rs 2,499

OnePlus has launched its first fitness band in India today priced at Rs 2,499. It will come with a black strap out of the box and the company will sell Tangerine Gray and Navy dual-coloured straps separately for Rs 399 each. The fitness band sports a 1.1-inch AMOLED display which is almost a standard size display for a fitness band these days.

The feature list of the band consists of the basic round the clock heart rate monitoring and SpO2 blood saturation monitoring. The latter has become a popular feature on fitness bands these days due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Other features of the band include sleep tracking, 13 exercise modes and an IP68 rating. The battery life of the band is expected to be 14 days which is satisfactory.

The OnePlus’ fitness band’s price puts it in direct competition with Mi Band 5, Honor Band 5 and others. It will be interesting to see if OnePlus manages to get the basics right with its debut fitness band that will set the tone for more fitness-oriented devices.

  LG has released a handful of details about its upcoming 2021 series of OLED televisions at CES 2021. Going through the somewhat vague press release, it seems there would be at least five models of OLED TVs available in 2021, including the Z1, G1, C1, B1, and A1. Among these, the G1 will feature LG's next generation OLED panel called OLED evo. LG claims this new panel is capable of higher brightness levels, something OLED has always struggled with. The G1 will be available in 55, 65, and 77-inch sizes. The C1 will likely be the next popular model in LG's lineup after the success of 2020's CX.   Introduction Smartmi, also known as Zhimi, is a Chinese manufacturer of smart home devices. Just as expected from a Xiaomi subsidiary, Smartmi’s devices are reasonably priced, well designed, and they integrate with the other Xiaomi smart home products.   Introduction Forget iPhones, Galaxies, Redmis, and whatnot. Meet the hottest phone of the season - the Poco M3. Everyone's talking about this model by the Xiaomi-backed brand, and rightfully so. It has everything needed to become a bestseller - good looks, a nice screen, excellent battery, stereo speakers, and a nice camera setup. And all these goodies come with a cheap price tag! Poco is now an independent brand from Xiaomi though Xiaomi still manufactures everything that Poco designs.
